CyanoLyase

CpcS-I subfamily

Description

Classification proposed by Shen et al. (2008) and Schluchter et al. (2010). CpcS-I forms a heterodimer with CpcU-I in Synechococcus sp. PCC 7002 (Saunée et al., 2008; Shen et al., 2008). All strains containing a CpcS-I homolog also possess a CpcU-I homolog, except Synechococcus sp. PCC 7335 (see phyletic profiles).
